About the Venue

This unique wedding and event venue is housed in a century-old building that was one of the hundreds of factories that dotted West Loop. Having sat vacant for years, the building was in poor shape when it was finally rehabbed into the beautiful space that became Loft on Lake. Today, the building features warm, exposed brick, original timber beams and a stunning 65-foot long skylight that is unique in the city. Known for being highly adaptable, Loft on Lake is ideal for creative clients and couples looking to a lot of customization.

A Blank Canvas

The open, unobstructed layout in the main room allows for a large number of options. For ceremonies, we often create a 40-fool wall of fabric utilizing either our crepe-back satin, touille, ivory linen, platinum crepe-back or other fabrics for an elegant look that matches the upscale & refined atmosphere of the space. For receptions, we create lighting schemes that match our clients’ visions, setting the mood and energy, be it soft and romantic or bright and energetic.
