About the Building:

Built in 1921 as a masonic lodge to house a chapter of the Knights Templar, this historic building is an event venue unlike any in the city. The elegant and sophisticated façade and interior reflect the design by Moritz F. Stranch. This truly unique venue, which was completely renovated in 2012, still features all of its original architectural details and only very recently has the building started to host weddings and private events. Located in the heart of Logan Square, the building faces Kedzie Boulevard but is hidden from the street by a row of neatly trimmed hedges. The venue’s historic elegance and high-capacity allows for couples and corporate clients to create unique and truly customized events.
Fun Fact: Stan Mansion was Awarded for Best Venue on TLC’s Four Weddings: And A Yellow Brick Road.

About the Fabric:

Once past the grand wooden doors, guests enter a marble-lined hallway with stairs leading up to a landing. In the main room, your guests will be awed by the impressive space which features 25 foot tall ceilings and an outstanding stage-like area that serves as a focal point at the back of the space. The stage area provides ample space for a variety of uses. Most often, an aisle will lead to the stage where we create a fabric installation which we embellish with crystals, uplighting, or a dramatic swag that hangs over the floor. To the sides of the stage, the room features two elevated areas where we often create stylish lounge settings or VIP areas for events. Additionally, the space features a separate room on the other side of the landing with an ornate and original wooden carved bar that is perfect for cocktail hours. Stan Mansion also makes use of the space underneath the main level for larger weddings & events, such as a 400 guest Indian Wedding that was simulcast to the families back in India.
